Benvinguts al nostre BLOG

En aquest blog, els familiars dels nostres alumnes podeu veure les diferents activitats que fem cada dia al Summer Camp d'Almacelles que es porta a terme a l'IES Canigó.

Durant tot el mes de Juliol l'actualitzarem cada dia, anirem penjant fotografies i descripcions de les diferents activitats i de tot el que anem aprenent amb anglès.

Esperem que ens seguiu i us agradi tot el que fem.

FIRST DAY: WELCOME TO THE SUMMER CAMP!! 

Today the Summercamp has started!!

Children have introduced themselves and played different and entertaining games in order to know each other!! P3 children have played with hoops and cones in the playground and, since the first week of the Summercamp focuses on the topic FOOD, they have watched some videos about food. Moreover, they have talked about the food they like and dislike.

P4 and P5 children have chosen a name for their class (they are the LIONS) and they have learnt a song about food. Children who belong to 1st, 2nd and 3rd of primary have designed a poster in order to decorate the classroom and they have played games about food.

The three groups have done the following poster and they have had a lot of fun!!

Avui hem donat el tret de sortida al Summercamp!! 

Tots els grups d'infants s'han presentat i han dut a terme jocs de coneixença molt divertits!! Els infants de P3 han jugat amb anelles i cons al pati i, ja que la primera setmana del Summercamp se centra en el tema del menjar, han vist uns videos molt entretinguts sobre menjar. A més a més, han parlat del menjar que els agrada i que no els agrada.

Els infants de P4 i P5 han triat un nom per la seva classe (són la classe dels LIONS) i han començat a aprendre una cançó sobre menjar. El grup de 1r, 2n i 3r de primària ha començat a dissenyar un poster per tal de decorar la classe i han fet jocs sobre menjar. Per acabar el matí han anat al pati a fer activitats esportives.

Els tres grups d'infants han realitzat el poster que trobeu a continuació i s'ho han passat d'allò més bé!!

SECOND DAY: 30th JUNE

Today the activities are also related to the topic of the week: food! The three groups have done an experiment that consists of putting water, food colouring and oil in a bottle. When this mixture is shaken, colours mix but then the colours separate. P3 children have learnt vocabulary, watched videos and have sung songs related to food. P4 and P5 children have decorated a fridge made of carton in order to play with flashcards. They have written down the rules of the class, too! The older children have played board games and computer games. What's more, they have done some activities related to food in the playground. For example, they have played hide and seek with food.

P4 and P5 children are watching an entertaining video in the following picture!

So, we can state that our children have had a lof of fun today!!

Avui hem continuat les activitats relacionats amb la temàtica de la setmana: food! Els tres grups d'infants han realitzat un experiment que consisteix a posar aigua, colorant i oli en una botella. En sacsejar-ho, els colors es barrejaven però després es tornaven a separar. El grup de P3 ha après vocabulari, mirat videos i cantat cançons relacionades amb el menjar. El grup de P4 i P5 ha decorat una nevera de cartró per tal de jugar amb flashcards i han escrit les normes de la classe. El grup de 1r, 2n i 3r de primària ha fet jocs de taula i d'ordinador i també ha sortit al pati a realitzar activitats esportives que tenen a veure amb el menjar. Per exemple, han jugat a fet i amagar amb aliments.

A la següent foto apareix el grup de P4 i P5 veient un video molt entretingut!

Per tant, podem dir que els nostres infants avui també s'ho han passat molt bé!!

THIRD DAY: 1st JULY!!

Mid-week and we keep on learning about FOOD with the batteries recharged!! P3 children have sung some songs about food and have tested the food they have already learnt! They have even pretended that they were in a restaurant and that they had to order food. What's more, they have drawn their favourite food.

P4 and P5 children have created a huge poster about meals and they have learnt breakfast, lunch and dinner! Races have been the protagonist of sports time and they have also sung a very entertaining song! The older children have done a new experiment today!! They have put an egg inside some water and they have found out that it floats! They have also tasted different food blindfolded and they have had to guess it.

Arribem a meitat de setmana amb les piles carregades per continuar aprenent sobre FOOD!! Els infants de P3 han cantat diverses cançons sobre menjar i han posat a prova els noms dels aliments que ja han après! Fins i tot han simulat que es trobaven en un restaurant i havien de demanar el menjar. A més a més, cadascú ha dibuixat el seu menjar preferit. 

Els nens i nenes de P4 i P5 han fet un poster gegant sobre els àpats i han après breakfast, lunch and dinner! També han fet curses a l'hora d'esports i han cantat una cançó molt divertida! Els infants més grans han fet un experiment nou avui!! Han posat un nou dins de l'aigua i han descobert que flota! També han fet un petit tast de diferents aliments amb els ulls tapats i han hagut d'endevinar que era.

FOURTH DAY: 2nd  JULY

Today it has been the penultimate day focused on the topic FOOD! Tomorrow, we are going to prepare a market in which our children will have to sell what they have created: lemonade, orange juice, a chocolate cake and fruit sticks with melon, watermelon and banana.

P3 children have revised the vocabulary that they have already learnt and have done various and entertaining activities in order to learn a lot while having fun! Today, the teacher has told them three stories related to food. They have also watched a video in which the process of making lemonade was explained.

P4 and P5 children have conducted the experiment that was done yesterday by the group of older children. They have had a lot of fun and the experiment has worked! Moreover, they have played "steal the handkerchief" with vocabulary related to food and they have played bowling, too.

The older children have done some activities related to FOOD and, since tomorrow they are going to be cooks, they have searched the recipe of a delicious chocolate cake and they have also watched a video in order to know how it has to be made. They have written down the ingredients they need and the steps they will have to follow tomorrow.

Avui ha estat el penúltim dia dedicat al tema FOOD! Demà prepararem un mercat on els nostres infants hauran de vendre el que ells han creat: llimonada, suc de taronja, un pastís de xocolata i pintxos de fruita amb meló, síndria i plàtan. 

El grup de P3 han repassat el vocabulari que ja han après i han dut a terme diverses i entretingudes activitats perquè els nostres infants aprenguin al màxim mentre aprenen! Avui la teacher els hi ha explicat tres contes relacionats amb el menjar. També han vist un video on s'explicava com fer llimonada. 

El grup de P4 i P5 ha dut a terme l'experiment que ahir van fer el grup de nens i nenes més grans. Els infants s'ho han passat d'allò més bé i l'experiment els ha funcionat a la primera! A més a més, han jugat al joc del mocador amb el vocabulari del menjar i han jugat a bitlles.

El grup de 1r, 2n i 3r de primària han continuat realitzant activitats amb el tema FOOD i, ja que demà hauran de fer de cuiners, han buscat la recepta d'un pastís de xocolata deliciós i també han vist un vídeo per saber com s'ha de fer. Han apuntat els ingredients que necessiten i els passos que hauran de seguir demà.

FIFTH DAY: 3rd JULY

Today, since it is the last day we have focused on FOOD, we have prepared an amusing market! P3 children have made lemonade and orange juice following the process of a video that they have watched. They have tasted lemon juice, which they have not liked, but with some sugar the lemonade was delicious! They have done aerobics and some activities about relaxation. P4 and P5 children have prepared magnificent fruit sticks with melon, watermelon and banana, which everybody wanted to buy! 1st, 2nd and 3rd group have proved to be fantastic cooks! First of all, they have done a cookery programme with a television made by themselves, then they have prepared a chocolate cake and they have sold it! 

All the children have concluded the morning by doing some delicious sweets sticks!

Avui, ja que és l'últim dia que dediquem a FOOD, hem preparat un divertit mercat!! Els infants de P3 han preparat llimonada i suc de taronja seguint el procés d'un vídeo que han mirat. Han tastat el suc de llimó, que no els han agradat, però amb una mica de sucre la llimonada estava delicious!! També han fet una mica d'aerobic i de relaxació. El grup de P4 i P5 han preparat uns magnífics pintxos de fruita amb meló, síndria i plàtan, els quals tots els nens i nenes volien comprar! El grup de 1r, 2n i 3r han estat uns fantàstics cuiners! Primerament, han fet un programa de cuina amb una televisió feta per ells mateixos, després han fet un pastís de xocolata i l'han venut al mercat. 

Tots els nostres infants han acabat el matí fent uns deliciosos pintxos de llaminadures!

SIXTH DAY: 6th JULY!

This week is focused on the topic CLOTHES! Children have already prepared things for the activity that is going to take place on Friday...a fashion show or catwalk! P3 children have learnt vocabulary about clothes and they have dressed some dolls. Moreover, they have prepared the accessories that they are going to wear! P4 and P5 children have learnt vocabulary about clothes in English and they have decided their costumes. They have also started to prepare them and they have had a lot of fun! The children of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of primary group have prepared their own wardrobe, in which they have many pieces of clothes! What's more, they have painted macaroni in order to make necklaces and wear them! They have also helped P3 children to paint them! 

To sum up, we have had a lot of fun!

Aquesta setmana està dedicada al tema CLOTHES! Tots els infants ja han preparat coses per l'activitat del divendres...una desfil·lada!! Els nens i les nenes de P3 han après vocabulari de la roba i han vestit unes nines. A més a més, han preparat els accessoris que lluiran a la desfil·lada! Els infants de P4 i P5 han après vocabulari de la roba en anglès i han decidit les seves disfresses per al divendres. També han començat a preparar-les i ha estat molt divertit! El grup de 1r, 2n i 3r ha fet el seu propi wardrobe, on ja tenen moltes peces de roba! A més a més, han pintat macarrons per poder fer collars i lluir-los a la desfil·lada i han ajudat als companys de P3 a pintar-ne! 

En resum, ens ho hem passat molt bé!!

SEVENTH DAY: 7th JULY

P3 children have made more accessories for the catwalk and they have also put on a costume in order to put into practice what they are learning about CLOTHES. P4 and P5 children have learnt vocabulary about CLOTHES through songs and videos. They have drawn pieces of clothes and they have played a computer game, in which they have had to dress a teddy bear following some instructions. Moreover, they have painted macaroni with their Summercamp classmates. 1st, 2nd and 3rd of primary children have prepared necklaces and accessories and they have done a Zumba session and also relaxation. It has been fantastic!!

Remember that in the section FOTOGALERÍA you can find pictures of the children playing and learning!!

Avui els nens i les nenes de P3 han fet accessoris per la desfilada i també s'han disfressat per posar en pràctica el que aprenen sobre la roba. El grup de P4 i P5 ha après vocabulari sobre la roba a través de cançons i vídeos. Han dibuixat peces de roba i han jugat a un joc d'ordinador en el qual hem hagut de vestir un ós de peluix seguint instruccions. A més a més, han pintat macarrons amb la resta de companys del Summercamp. Els infants dde 1r, 2n i 3r de primària han preparat collars i accessoris i han fet una classe de Zumba i també relaxació. Ha estat fantàstic!!

EIGHTH DAY: 8th JULY

We are almost ready for the catwalk!! P3 children have sung a lot today! Moreover, they have also celebrated Zoe's birthday (she's 4 years old today!!) and her classmates have made a crown for her. They already have their accessories for the catwalk and they have described the pieces of clothes they are wearing today. P4 and P5 children have learnt more words about CLOTHES. They have been finishing their costumes and they have tried them on. They have also played with hoops!! The oldest children have played board games in different groups and they have competed with each other. They have been also preparing their costumes for the catwalk!!

Ja estem quasi preparats i preparades per la desfilada!! Els infants de P3 han cantat molt avui! A més a més, també han celebrat l'aniversari de la Zoe (avui fa 4 anys!!) i els seus companys li han fet una corona. Ja tenen els accessoris per la desfilada i també han descrit les peces de roba que porten avui. Els infants de P4 i P5 han après més paraules sobre CLOTHES. Han estat acabant les seves disfresses i se les han emprovat. També han jugat amb aros!! Els nens i nenes més grans han jugat a jocs de taula en diferents grups i han competit entre ells. Tambe han preparat les disfresses per la desfilada!!

NINTH DAY: 9th JULY

Tomorrow there is going to be a fantastic catwalk!! We are prepared for the great day!! All the groups have been practising a lot and they have put on different and funny costumes. They have had a lot of fun! We have played the game "steal the handkerchief" while revising the colours with P3 children. P4 and P5 children have learnt more about the topic CLOTHES and they are totally ready for tomorrow! They are looking forward to the catwalk! Moreover, they have painted some masks.

Demà hi haurà una fantàstica desfilada!! Estem preparats pel gran dia!! Tots els grups han estat practicant molt i s'han posat disfresses diferents i divertides. S'ho han passat d'allò més bé! Hem jugat al joc del mocador mentre repassàvem els colors amb els infants de P3. Els nens i les nenes de P4 i P5 han après molt sobre el tema CLOTHES i estan totalment preparats per demà! Esperen la desfilada amb moltes ganes! A més a més, han pintat màscares.

TENTH DAY: 10th JULY

The expected catwalk has taken place today and children have enjoyed a lot this activity!! Soon you will be able to have a look at the pictures (remember that they will be in the section "fotogaleria"). Moreover, children have watched some videos and played different games in order to conclude the week focused on CLOTHES.

L'esperada desfilada ha tingut lloc avui i els nens i les nens s'ho han passat molt bé!! Aviat podreu fer una ullada a les fotos que hem fet avui (recordeu que estaran a la secció "fotogaleria"). A més a més, els infants han mirat vídeos i han jugat a diversos jocs per tal de concloure la setmana centrada en el tema CLOTHES.

Ens veiem el dilluns i que tingueu un bon cap de setmana!!

ELEVENTH DAY: 13th JULY

It's Monday! This week is focused on the topic BODY! Children have started to learn the body parts and have made some huge posters with the body parts on it (have a look at the section "fotogaleria" and you will find the pictures!!). P4 and P5 children have solved a puzzle of a boy and have made colourful salt. They have also learnt the body parts while they were singing a song. P3 children have played some games and sung some songs in order to learn the body parts. Moreover, they have made a poster with their body shapes.

És dilluns! Aquesta setmana està dedicada al tema BODY! Tots els nens i les nenes han començat a aprendre les parts del cos i han fet diversos pòsters gegants amb les parts del cos (mireu l'apartat "fotogaleria" i trobareu les fotos!!). El grup de P4 i P5 ha fet un puzzle d'un boy i sal de colors. També han après les parts del cos mentre cantaven una cançó. El grup de P3 ha jugat a jocs i cantat cançons per tal d'aprendre les parts del cos humà! A més a més, han fet un pòster amb les siluetes dels seus cossos. 

TWELFTH DAY: 14th JULY

P3 children have reviewed what they have been learning on this Summercamp and they have worked on the topic BODY. They have finished a very big poster and they have started to make a mobile...a monkey mobile! P4 and P5 children have also started a mobile in order to learn vocabulary and they have drawn themselves! 1st, 2nd and 3rd of primary children are learning the body parts and they have started the topic JOBS. They have also played board games and computer games and they have had a lot of fun! Moreover, they have started a craft and they are going to show its result to us tomorrow!

El grup de P3 ha repassat el que estan aprenent aquest Summercamp i han treballat el tema BODY. Han acabat un pòster molt gran i han començat a fer un mòbill d'un monkey! Els infants de P4 i P5 han seguit treballant el cos, han començat un mòbil per tal d'aprendre el vocabulari i s'han dibuixat a ells mateixos. El grup de 1r, 2n i 3r ha continuat treballant les parts del cos i ha començat amb el tema JOBS. També han jugat a jocs de taula i d'ordinador i s'ho han passat molt bé! A més a més, han començat a fer una manualitat i demà ens ensenyaran el resultat!

THIRTEENTH DAY: 15th JULY

It has been a very refreshing day!! We have played some water games and we have had a lot of fun!! Moreover, children have watched some videos, they have sung songs and they have played different games because we are learning the body parts this week.

Ha estat un dia molt refrescant!! Hem jugat a jocs d'aigua i ens ho hem passat molt i molt bé!! A més a més, els infants han mirat vídeos, cantat cançons i jugat a diversos jocs perquè estem aprenent les parts del cos aquesta setmana.

Our Summercamp is coming to an end, but we are enjoying our last week! The three groups have rehearsed the festival and the truth is that we are very excited about it!! Moreover, we have done a lot of activities related to food, clothes, body and sports.

El Summercamp està arribant a la seva fi, però estem gaudint de l'última setmana! Els tres grups han assajat el festival i la veritat és que estem molt contents!! A més a més, hem fet moltes activitats relacionades amb food, clothes, body i sports.

TWENTY-FOURTH DAY: 30th JULY

Summercamp is almost over... it's a pity but we are very excited about the festival!! It's going to take place tomorrow, at 11:20h more or less. You'll be able to see all we have been doing. There will be songs, P.E and a lot of surprises!! We hope you can come tomorrow!! You can't miss it!

El Summercamp ja gairebé s'ha acabat... és una pena però estem molt contents i motivats per fer el festival!! Tindrà lloc demà a les 11:20h més o menys. Podreu veure tot el que hem estat fent. Hi haurà cançons, Educació Física i un munt de sorpreses!! Esperem que pugueu venir demà! No us ho podeu perdre!
